Digital citizenship post

When I am online or texting, I tend to lose track of how many hours I am using digital media. I learned today that teens use digital media everyday and can send over 100 text in 1 day. My parents complain alot about me texting all the time. I need to be more responsible with digital media and not be online or texting all the time.

Also, be careful what you post on facebook or any other website like that. Colleges are looking at digital footprints, your online history, for you to be accepted or not. If the college or job as only one opening and you are a cadidate, but your history online is bad then the job or college opening goes to your competition. Dont post anything that you would regret later in life, post postive things and unfriend the friends that are or could ruin you chance of getting into your dream college or your job. Make the online media fun and stress or regret free.

Another point is, dont bully other people online. If you take the action of being a cyperbully, you are a coward. You rather hurt someone online than face to face because you feel more powerful online, and dont have to see their facial expression when you hurt them. Just be kind and smart online.
